For added authenticity, this machine gun even comes with a real wood stock for storage of mini type or LiPo batteries. Similar in design to its real steel counterpart, this MG42 AEG can easily deliver a high volume of high velocity suppressive fire. This MG42 AEG, configured to fire in full auto only, shoots up to 420 FPS (w/ 0.20g BBs) with an impressive rate of fire (use higher voltage batteries to increase ROF). Thanks to an auto-winding drum mag, you have up to 2,500 rounds at your disposal to provide cover fire and light up your targets. While the MG42 machine gun by AGM is geared for actual airsoft applications, this replica is just as perfect for World War II reenactments.

NOTE: This airsoft AEG comes with a rechargeable battery, however, you will need four (4x) AA batteries to power the 2,500-round auto-winding drum magazine.

Battery Charger Recommendation: Newave recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging) but also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
